UK maritime agency reports 'potential blast' in Red Sea

Britain's maritime agency said on Sunday that it has received a report of drone activity and a potential explosion in the Red Sea's Bab al-Mandab strait. The drone activity originated from the direction of Yemen, UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said in a statement. Similar incidents have occurred recently in the region, particularly since the beginning of ongoing Israeli attacks on Gaza on Oct. 7.
